World Food Festival in Rotterdam

The World Food Festival in Rotterdam: five weeks of culinary delights in a brand new festival! The festival, which started on the 18th of September, will end on the 27th of October 2013.


Everything you’ve ever wanted to know about food.

For five weeks, restaurants and cafes, food producers, scientists and top chefs see, hear and listen to the delights Rotterdam has to offer. The festival, held at venues throughout the city and harbour, has Museumpark as heart of this spicy festival of flavours.

Future Food House

Museumpark, 19 September to 27 October:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays 12.00 – 17.00 hrs

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 12.00 – 20.00 hrs

Find out more about the latest trends, technologies and developments in the world of food. Cooking demonstrations, workshops, interactive exhibitions, installations and jam sessions between master chefs will give you plenty of food for thought.

Walk around a Moroccan inspired culinary square in Rotterdam at Djemaa el Fna (20-21 September), discover the best of culinary and cultural Rotterdam at RotterdamseKost Festival (3-5 October), find out more about farming during the Rotterdamse Oogst (22 September) or enjoy a rooftop dinner at the Dakakker Oogstfeest (20 September).
