CLAES IVERSEN July 2014 – Amsterdam Fashion Week

Claes Iversen’s (Denmark, 1977) collections balance between ready-to-wear and haute couture and are modern re-interpretations of classic, ultra feminine garments without being a cliché. Iversen followed an internship at Viktor & Rolf and was rewarded with the ‘BLVD Modeprijs’ before receiving his master’s degree at the Fashion Institute Arnhem in 2008. His graduation collection was presented at Paris Fashion Week. In 2010 Iversen won the ‘Marie Claire Prix de la Mode Award’ in the category ‘Best National Designer’.
