This NYC Shoe Designer Has Taken To Graffiti To Share Her Designs—And We Love Them!

There are a whole lot of shoes popping up on the walls and street posts of New York City and, dang, they’re chic. While graffiti has never gotten my shopping urge going, it’s happening here and now thanks to the pieces being done by Luxury Rebel designer director Renée Snelson. She’s started tagging city walls (and tagging again, via #shoefiti on Instagram) and a little bit of retail research confirms that some of the styles are similar to ones that you can currently shop.

For instance, the pointy-toe, side buckles, and stacked heel of the above sketch have me seriously seeing the style below.


And the open-toe lace-up bootie spotted outside a gallery have a lot in common with this one.


As for the sketches I’m crossing my fingers correlate with shoes coming out soon, I’d be happy with any of these guys.
