I can never say no to an adorable dog story—reference last week’s stories on these sweetly accessorized pit bull rescues and a nattily dressed dachshund reporting on London Fashion Week. So cute, right? Because I also love fall, the idea of dog Halloween costumes is basically double the pleasure.
T.J.Maxx and Marshalls just did a fun survey about costumes for pets and babies (of the human variety) and found that a quarter of people planned on dressing up both for the holiday. Of that number, half said they were planning on a matching costume, which, you know, is the ultimate in adorableness.
If you’re a dog or human mom and want to follow the trend, know that one third of pet parents said they’d opt for a pumpkin or bumblebee costume. You’ll see a lot of human pumpkin and bee babies too, plus ladybugs, dinosaurs, and monkeys (all top picks, per the survey).
There’s the elephant dog.
The aviator dog.
And, yup, three baby piglets! I’m dying over this one.
