Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon, and More: All the Weekend Looks You Need to See

As part of my job, I’m used to scrolling through pages and pages of celebrity events and activities, so it’s big that I actually had to stop, put down the coffee mug, and confirm that I was reading the dates of the photos I was looking at properly—this weekend was packed with red carpets and amazingly gorgeous style moments. I did the heavy lifting for you guys, picking out the absolute best ones you owe it to yourself to see (heck, I was so excited about Blake Lively’s latest perfect maternity outfit that I had to tell you guys about it yesterday!).

At the Governors Awards, a slew of reliably best-dressed contenders were there, including Jessica Chastain in this romantic, angelic white Nina Ricci dress. Her shoes are by Nicholas Kirkwood.

Jennifer Aniston went for a completely opposite vibe in this black lacy cocktail dress. It’s classic Jen, though, from the basic silhouette to the skinny straps. Her earrings are by Irene Neuwirth.

If you pay attention, you’ll notice Reese Witherspoon rocks this hot pink so frequently, I think it’s safe to say it’s one of her favorites. My favorite detail from this Ralph Lauren pick are the sheer cap sleeves that give the dress’ strong feminine vibe a sweet girly finish.

I loved Michelle Monaghan’s pink and white pleated J.Mendel dress so, so much (her jewelry is Irene Neuwirth). It has that classic Grecian vibe, but then you notice the va-va-voom leg slit that comes all the way up to her hip. Also, good job, Michelle: you’re showing that leg off without weirdly thrusting it to the side the way we’ve seen so many others do on the red carpet…

The awards ceremony had one other major hot pink moment, courtesy of Miss Emily Blunt in Michael Kors. Like Reese’s, it’s a girl’s girl dress, and I love how the floral pattern at the bust adds some cheer.

The weekend’s biggest princess moment came courtesy of Jessica Alba in this stunning white and gold Andrew Gn ball gown. It’s dramatic and gorgeous and I love the wintry color combo, finished off with a golden clutch and heels, both by Brian Atwood.

And, finally, the ladies of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 all looked stunning—don’t ask me to pick a favorite because I’d be at a loss. The bold prints from Julianne Moore (in Dries Van Noten with Aquazzura heels) and Elizabeth Banks (in Alexander McQueen) are fantastic, as is Natalie Dormer’s take-me-to-the-office knee-length dress from Michael Van Der Ham. And Jennifer Lawrence totally did her own thing in loose and easy white Public School suiting worn over something as simple as a black tank.
