Another exhibition comes to São Paulo (Brazil) to stir the most cultural city of the country.
The Museu de Arte Brasileira (The Brazilian Art Museum) (MAB) of foundation Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP), is pleased to host the exhibition “Blumenfeld Studio: New York 1941-1960”.
The exhibition is an unprecedented retrospective of the German photographer Erwin Blumenfeld, one of the most influential of the 20th century.
His works in French publications had notoriety in the late 30, calling the attention of the British Cecil Beaton, which paved the way for Blumenfeld to French Vogue team where he worked for 15 years old, in partnership with Alexander Liberman.
Blumenfeld also made history in Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Life magazine working as a correspondent.
The exhibition will be on display until January 18, 2015, from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 20 hours. Saturdays and Sundays from 13 to 17 hours with free admission.
