Spring 2015 ad campaigns are being revealed left and right, and coming next week, Behati Prinsloo will have her moment fronting Lancaster Paris (an honor previously given to Karlie Kloss). As such, I jumped on the opportunity to talk bags with the beauty.
AMSFTV: Love these images! Where were they shot?
Behati Prinsloo: In a gorgeous home right above a screen-printing studio that works on Andy Warhol art.
AMSFTV: What’s your favorite shape of bag to carry? Do you switch between styles or carry the same one a lot?
BP: My favorite shape for every day is a long, narrow one [that hangs on a] string or chain and hits at my hip. I do switch it up a lot, sometimes into a smaller bag that just holds sunglasses and keys, sometimes a larger bag. It feels good to have my hands free. I travel so much for work that when I fly, I prefer to travel light and bring a carry-on bag that I don’t need to check.
AMSFTV: What’s the best bag you’ve ever received as a gift?
BP: I’ve been blessed to work with amazing designers who have generously given me beautiful bags. Lancaster was very sweet and let me pick out my favorite one when I shot the campaign.
AMSFTV: Your name has a strong connection with sexy lingerie shoots. Is it different working on a project fully clothed?
BP: For me it’s all about the connection with the team, and I’m fortunate to work with great people who make the energy on set easy.
