Denim Lovers, Listen Up: Expert Tips From the Jean Queens of L.A.

There’s big denim news from Club Monaco! The retailer is adding jeans to the mix but not by adding in-house options. Rather, it’s cherry-picking the best from Los Angeles-based brands Citizens of Humanity, Mother, and McGuire and selling them alongside its own merchandise. To celebrate, the women behind each brand is sharing the denim trends she’s loving, her best style advice, and more.

On how many jeans she owns: “Approximately 125 pairs, including 75 pairs of vintage Levi’s, Wranglers, and Lees.”
On her favorite new denim trend: “The ’70s revival! The flare silhouette is the biggest comeback. As of late, I’m all about cropped flares.”
On her best blue jean advice: “It’s a very functional piece of clothing, and I love how you add your own personal style to make it your own. It’s the way you wear your jeans that makes them stylish.”
