For the new Giorgio Armani Eyewear campaign, shot by Kurt Markus alongside his imagery for Giorgio Armani fashion for spring/summer 2019, settings were chosen that perfectly capture the mood of the collection: sand dunes and pools of water showcase the delicacy of the materials and the evanescence of the colours, while light-effects create a suffused atmosphere. These places, between the sky and the sand, emphasise emotions in a fluctuating equilibrium of sensations – the effect is a celebration freedom.

Their design encapsulates many of the brand’s hallmarks with its eclectic simplicity, touch of modern elegance and retro flavour. The construction is innovative. The front piece has two metal profiles with contrasting colours that create a game of spaces and voids. This effect is accentuated by the lenses, raw cut and separated by the inner rim of the frame.
